Talk: The Merryweather

Retired fire fighter Jim Kerley, of the Old Dundalk Society, will give a talk on the iconic Merryweather fire engine at 1pm in the County Museum on Friday 13th of June. This historic fire engine travelled to assist with the relief efforts in Belfast during the German blitz of the city in 1941. After the talk Jim will provide a tour of the Merryweather which will be on display in the Museum courtyard.
